Optional Services
Enhance Your Wedding Without Complicating It
Every wedding needs a strong foundation — and at Royal Cliff, that foundation is already built. Venue, catering, bar service, DJ, planning, and coordination are included so the day runs smoothly from start to finish.
Optional services exist for one reason only: to help you personalize the experience once the essentials are covered.
These enhancements are completely optional. They’re not required, bundled, or pushed. They’re simply available if they make sense for your vision, your guests, and your priorities.
Why Optional Services Exist
When optional services are booked separately, couples often end up coordinating multiple contracts, timelines, deliveries, and payments. That can quickly turn “just one add-on” into another planning headache.
At Royal Cliff, optional services are designed to stay simple:
- One team
- One timeline
- One point of contact
- One coordinated plan
Everything integrates smoothly with the rest of your wedding day — no extra vendors to manage and no surprises on timing or logistics.
Photography & Videography
Professional photography and video capture moments you’ll carry long after the day is over. For couples who want a streamlined planning experience, these services can be coordinated directly through the venue.
This approach ensures:
- Familiarity with the space and lighting
- Seamless coordination with your timeline
- No confusion on access, setup, or flow
- Consistent coverage of key moments
It’s an easy option for couples who value simplicity and want vendors who already know how weddings move here.
Price Ranges (subject to change, but locked in once included in your package)
- Photography 7 hours $2400
- Photography 9 hours $2400 (includes engagement)
- Photography 2 x 8 hours $5100
- Video 4 hours $1500
- Video 6 hours $1900
- VIP Photo 9 hours & Video 8 hours $5100
Décor, Silk Florals, & Centerpieces
Décor is one of the most personal parts of a wedding — and also one of the easiest places to overcomplicate things. Optional décor services allow couples to enhance the space without starting from scratch.
Options may include:
- Centerpieces (from $25)
- Accent décor
- Ceremony enhancements (from $150)
- Seasonal design elements
- Coordinated color palettes
- Table runners and chair sashes
- Specialty linens
Because Royal Cliff already includes features like the stage arch, floral lobby wall, and professional lighting, many couples find they need far less décor than expected. Optional pieces simply help refine the look.
Bakery & Dessert Options
Couples are welcome to bring in a licensed brick and mortar bakery for desserts, as long as the desserts are nut free and do not require onsite refrigeration. Cottage licenses are not ok, these are not fully commercial facilities.
However, we have a few popular in house options: we make our own cheese cake, and work closely with Sweet Kneads in Farmington, and Nothing Bundt Cakes in Eagan. For those who want everything handled in one place, all you have to do is schedule a tasting with either bakery, and we'll take it from there.
This keeps delivery, timing, setup, and presentation aligned with your reception flow — especially helpful when dessert coincides with speeches, dances, or late-night transitions.
Late-Night Food & Guest Favorites
Late-night food is one of the most talked-about parts of a wedding — and for good reason. Once the dance floor is full, guests appreciate something fun, familiar, and satisfying. Have you ever been to a wedding where people got really hungry around 9 - 10pm and there was nothing around? We did. Not only that, but a late night snack might even compensate for that extra drink your cousin did not need...
Popular late-night options include:
- Pizza ($25)
- Nacho bar ($500)
- Mac & cheese bar ($500)
- Charcuterie displays ($500)
These options are designed to keep energy high, guests happy, and the party going — all without interrupting the flow of the evening or having to explain things to the local constable.
Morning & Welcome Beverage Packages
Mimosas for ladies and beer for the gentlemen are fund add-ons while getting ready. Seasonal welcome drinks can enhance the full guest experience.
These options can include:
- Morning beverage service ($169)
- Welcome drinks (Aperol Spritz - $600 serves 100)
- Seasonal cocktails (Ginger Jamison in March- $600 serves 100)
- Specialty mocktails (Virgin Old Fashioned - $600 serves 100)
They’re especially popular for couples who want guests to feel welcomed the moment they arrive or to create a more themed guest experience.
Shuttles
Transportation can be one of the trickiest logistics in wedding planning — especially when hotels, venues, and after-parties are involved. Optional shuttle services help simplify guest movement while keeping the schedule on track.
This is particularly helpful for:
- Getting the wedding party to and from a church
- Larger guest counts
- Guests unfamiliar with the area
- Couples prioritizing safety and convenience
When coordinated through the venue, transportation aligns seamlessly with your timeline. One thing we do not recommend is getting on a bus (bar hopping) during social hour, and that is because all your guests are there to see you, not us, and while we love to meet new people, your guests are really looking forward to chatting you up, no one else!
Photo Booth & Wall
Well, we have both: a photo booth and a photo wall. The booth is fun and a unique experience where the subjects are free to be silly, and the photo wall gives you a pretty, Instagram-ready background.
How Optional Services Fit Into Your Budget
Optional services are reviewed together during planning so you can see:
- What’s already included
- What adds real value for your guests
- What’s nice-to-have vs. must-have
- How enhancements fit into your overall budget
There’s no pressure to add anything. Many couples choose only one or two enhancements — and some choose none at all. The goal is alignment, not upselling.
